Adrian adjusted his sunglasses as he stared out over the waves ebbing and flowing over the deserted stretch of beach. He wasn't usually prone to napping, but it was just too damned peaceful here to not drop off every now and then.

He looked at the empty spot beside him, unsure if Anna was off in the water or had gone back up to the house for something, but he wasn't worried. They were utterly alone here on their vacation hideaway.

Vacation. The word was still anathema to him. He'd taken off before now, long spans where he was between cities where he didn't work, but that was always searching for a place to land. This was different - time away from somewhere he fully intended to return to. Odd, but in a comforting way.

Especially when he thought about how he was hoping to return, and what was in his pocket.

"T-t-this is heaven, hi." Anna began, leaning down to brush a soft and chaste kiss against Adrian's lips as she dropped back into the sand beside him. Placing a strawberry against his lips instead of her tongue, Anna blushed a vivid shade of red before reaching across for a bottle. Hand hovering between the bottle of champagne or sunblock, Anna hmm'd as she leaned across Adrian before picking up the sunblock. "C-c can you get my back?"

Adrian made a sound, like he was put out by her request, but he was already sitting up to comply. "I suppose I can, if I must."

He grinned as he said it, then realized that she had come back down without a stitch on. "I like your new bathing suit," he commented.

"I n-nearly died coming over here," Anna began , her cheeks turning a fierce shade of peach as she glanced at Adrian. Pressing her lips together, she ducked her head a little and let her hair spill over her shoulders as he realised what she was wearing or what she wasn't. "It doesn't b-bother you, does it?"

Anna bit her bottom lip, looking up at Adrian with wide, doe-like eyes.

"I guess that would depend on what you mean by bothered," Adrian commented with a lecherous grin before smoothing sunblock over her back and shoulders. "I want you to be comfortable, but I'm also a guy with a very naked, very beautiful girlfriend under my hands."

The ache in his groin was growing, but it was a pleasant sort of ache right now. Nothing urgent, just a simmering desire.

Anna drew her hair with petite hands over her shoulder before turning slightly to look at Adrian. Eyelashes brushing her cheek demurely, she blushed a little at the grin he flashed her. Shivering at the press of cold cream against her shoulders, she trembled a little under Adrian's touch.

Anna explained, fingertips brushing through the sand before she sprinkled sand over Adrian's legs. Scratching her nails lightly against his skin, she leaned forward so he could get her back fully.

At that news, Adrian's excitement level ramped up, but not for sex. He'd never seen her in full siren form and he'd hoped that here, with the clear water he would be able to, but he'd also been careful to not push her if she wasn't ready.

"That sounds like a practical plan," he told her, kissing one shoulder softly. "I like it."

She was getting better at not stammering a reply but it was still hard at times.

"I'm not?" Adrian asked, chuckling against her lips. "I can't help it if I have a beautiful siren distracting me, but I will try to do better."

He kissed her again, deeper this time. "And for the record, I like any time that you're naked."

"N-no, you're not. If I burn, and I will, then I'll be the one being ill tomorrow. Neither of us w- will enjoy that." Anna murmured, trying not to blush more when she felt his laughter against her lips. She sighed into the kiss, murmuring his name a little desperately as she reached up to hold his arm. She almost leant back into the sand, pull him on top of her when she realised what was happening. He was distracting her and it was working. "Do you?"

"And this way, your back isn't in the sun so it doesn't matter as much about the inexpert applying of sunblock."

Anna leant back into the sand, hands sliding up his arms to his neck before sliding round to his back. Running her fingers through the back of his hair, she smiled when she felt him smile against his lips. Blushing, her legs parted a little so she felt his cock slide against her thigh and between her legs.

Watching as he brought her hand up, she let her nose crinkle up in confusion before smiling as she felt his lips brush against each of her fingers. His lips were warm against her skin. Meeting his gaze, she felt her skin flush a little more even as she couldn't look away. "Yeah? What kind of serious?"

Adrian took a deep breath, then found her eyes with his. "The forever kind of serious," he said simply. "The one that involves vows and rings."

Before she could say anything, he lowered to kiss her deeply.

Lips parting to answer in response, Anna began to breathe out an answer before his lips cut her off. Smiling beneath his mouth, Anna leaned up to kiss him slowly before she pulled back and pressed a hand between them.

Looking up at him earnestly, Anna licked her dry lips and tried not to let him distract her from such a good thing. Tried not to let her stammer stop her from replying.

"Are you asking m-" Anna began taking a breath to stop the stammer that threatened to come with the rapid beating of her heart. Cheeks flushed, she smiled and breathed out slow and steady. "-Are you asking me? Because yes, Adrian. Yes, I want to marry you."
