As Adrian padded back into town the night after the beach party, he had a vague hope that this time, he'd manage to make it into the shop before someone caught him shifting back to human and he ended up bare-ass naked in front of yet another Siren Cove resident.

At this point, he thought, he might as well just strip down and run through the center of town, get seen by everyone at once and save himself the worry.

He'd tried last night to cut the naked probability down by stripping and shifting at the edge of the forest, leaving his clothes there but when he'd checked the spot just now, his clothes had been gone. Kids pranking, someone liked the look of his jeans, whatever.

It was done and he stood at the door to his shop, took a look over his shoulder, and shifted back to human.

Open to anyone, but mainly for Kat and Anna. Find Adrian shifting, or just stop by the shop later in the day and say hi.

"You aren't. I'm going to cry any moment now and then what will you do."

Bach nodded. "I don't know but ..yeah, maybe? I'll have to find a shelter here first."

[needleandink]

"Then I'll have a tall, weeping man in my studio and may just take video for later enjoyment," Adrian quipped. "But I'd feel bad about it later. As far as shelters goes, I couldn't tell you, but Coop, my vet, he might have an idea of where to look. Wouldn't be Cinderella, but it also wouldn't be a hungry panther."

Bach shook his finger at him. "You're the worst and I think you should motivate me in a way that makes me feel much better about myself. In any way you can think of."

"Maybe, I don't know. She's been with me for like ..five years?"

[needleandink]

"Did you somehow confuse 'tattoo artist' with 'psychiatrist'?" Adrian asked with a snort. "I'm not much in the motivational speech department, unless you want me to ink Cinderella on your chest as some sort of sign of devotion that might draw her back to you."

[bachjones]

"Oh shut up, you're breaking my heart. Just stay naked and stop talking, or something."

[needleandink]

Adrian looked down at the sweats now hanging low on his hips. "All right then. I'll be over here half dressed if you need anything. Anything that doesn't involve carnal knowledge, I mean."

Don't get him wrong, the guy wasn't bad looking, but he just wasn't feeling it and, based on what he'd heard, the guy got around. A lot.

[bachjones]

Bach rolled his eyes. "You're moody. Why are you moody?"

[needleandink]

"Tends to happen when your life gets upended when you least expect it," Adrian said with a shrug. "Even when its in a good way, it has a way of messing with your stride."

[bachjones]

"Wait ..what?" Bach frowned. "You're okay? Someone wanted to turn you into a carpet?"

[needleandink]

The carpet comment took Adrian a minute but he laughed, shook his head. "Not that I know of, but if you hear about anyone shopping for a panther pelt, I'd appreciate the heads up. I just, I met someone and she's got me wondering if I know which way is up anymore."

[bachjones]

"Don't fall in love man, just don't. Before you know it you lost five years off your life as a housewife."

Bach tutted. "Totally understand the confusion though, there's always that pull. Do I need to let you be?"

[needleandink]

"Nah, it's fine. I don't mind the distraction from my own head. I'm not planning on falling into anything, but damn if I couldn't see it happening. She's like no one I've ever met."

[bachjones]

"That just means you have to meet more people." Bach made a face. "I'm saying man, be careful. Now it's fun, in a year she hates everything about you but won't let you go."

[needleandink]

Adrian couldn't see Anna ever being like that, but for all he knew, she'd get tired of him once the blushing and flustering was over. He just knew he wasn't going to stop it before it got started based on things that might happen.

"I'll be careful," he assured Bach. "And if it happens that way, I give you leave to tell me you told me so. Deal?"

[bachjones]

"If I'm still around, I most definitely will."

".. so, what's her name?"

[needleandink]

Adrian's eyebrow popped up at the first comment. "Are you going somewhere?"

[bachjones]

"Maybe. Place is only starting to feel worse, not better." He hummed. "Go somewhere easier, maybe."
