“Don’t be so negative about yourself.” Alfie stated before adding with a slight grin, “And thanks for not having me strip naked – I think Siren Cove probably had enough of that for the day. And I’m suddenly feeling pretty chilly with my clothes on too.”
Alfie pulled out his mobile and tapped a quick memo into his phone. “I’m going to go and make some posters to see if there are any leads on Cinderella. Maybe someone has seen her around or something.” Shoving the phone back in his pocket, he paused for a moment, “I’m only downstairs. You know that you’re always welcome if you want, right? Don’t suffer in silence and all that.”
“So I’ll see you soon.” He grinned, taking a small step back before pausing for a moment. Alfie breathed out an almost silent ‘fuck’, stepping to cover the gap. He spoke quietly, “I just need to test something,” and kissed Bach again.
